A Case of Spontaneous Rupture of Renal Angiomyolipoma

Abstract
Renal angiomyolipoma is an uncommon benign tumor of the kidney, which is composed of mixture of adipose tissue, smooth muscle and blood vessels. Its clinical and radiographic features are similar with renal cell carcinoma, and its preoperative diagnosis had been difficult. But recently it can be easily diagnosed preoperatively by several diagnosticc modalities such as nephrotomograhpy, ultrasonography and computed tomography. We recently experienced a case of spontaneous rupture of renal angiomyolipoma treated by nephrectomy in a 35-year-old woman. So we report the case with a brief review of the literatures.
